After looking at the title you may well be thinking, what on earth is this good old chap on about, well I'm about to give a review on FUEL, the biggest open environment racing game. Now after that comment you may be thinking, oh wow he likes it! WRONG!
Flipping awful springs to mind when playing this game!
Ah, but to make a good review I have to lay down some good points and some bad points, so here it goes. Good Points:
OK nowBad Points:
yeah yeah yeah that was not at all fair. So yes there are some good point which I like about the game, for example. I really like the hole idea of having free roam, its a nice feature which appeals to me, and I'm sure it does others. Bad point, free roam is ruined by the fact the hole map Is empty or just feels like a copy and paste planet.
If you have read the title you would see the Fuelout 3 name, this is because everything around you Is as empty as being in the middle of no-where in fallout. Only thing is, on fallout you can kill everything you see!
The main bad point is that its way to open. The tracks are so free your short cuts are crazy and you can win very very easy. The vehicles just don't feel right, its not as nitty gritty as Motorstorm, and not as exciting. The bots are not up to much, they take the set rout around and its painfully slow to watch them.
This game could have been good, and I admit the weather changes and the options to add to it, but its not even close to beat Motorstorm.
